In this study they took rats and induced oxidative organ damages to the heart, kidneys and brain tissues. They then treated the rats with either resveratrol or saline (as a point of reference). What the group observed is that after a 6-week treatment, those rats treated with resveratrol reversed all the measured damages and improved cardiovascular function.
